If the Cairn 5wt feels too fast for your loop or the Helmsdale doesn't load where you want it, send it back and we will either exchange it or refund in full. We don't deduct a restocking fee. What we ask is that you don't fish it first and then return it — that is fair to both of us.

Rinse the rod with clean water after every day on salt or peaty water — both are corrosive to guides over time. Dry it fully before it goes back in the tube. Check the ferrules every few trips and wipe with a light wax if they are sticking. Store horizontally if you can, or vertically tip-up.
